Florida International Summit 2017: Cyber Strategy in a Globally Connected World

On Thursday, February 2, 2017, the University of South Florida will host the Florida International Summit, an annual event sponsored by the Florida Network for Global Studies. The theme for this year’s conference is “Cyber Strategy in a Globally Connected World.” The event is scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Brigadier General Ryan Heritage, Deputy Director of Future Operations for J3 United States Cyber Command, will deliver the morning keynote address. Ted Reynolds, Senior Research Fellow in Terrorism Studies for the University of Central Florida Global Perspectives Office will moderate the morning panel, “Cyber Policy in the Energy, Healthcare, Financial and Communications Sectors.” Finally, Sri Sridharan, Director for the Florida Center for Cybersecurity, will lead the afternoon panel, which will discuss workforce development.
